Turn oven on 425 degrees.
Take a large sheet pan and lay a piece of parchment paper down. Spread 1 tbsp of olive oil onto the parchment paper.
Place the remnants onto the pan. Sprinkle as much sea salt as you prefer on top of the meat parts.
Sprinkle the garlic powder all over the meat part as well, more than 1 tbsp if you would like.
Slice 1/4 of a whole onion. Lay the onion on top of the remnants for the meat to really suck up the onion flavor.
Once the onion is heated, cook for about 30-35 minutes or until the meat is cooked at the temperature you prefer for beef. Well done is 145 degrees.
After cooked to your preference, serve the meat parts.
Keep the fat and beef bones for the bone broth.
